The Old Shed
Where hands meet heart, and form meets fire.
Tucked at the edge of the orchard, The Old Shed is Harmony Village’s dedicated space for hands-on, earth-based arts. With its rustic charm and open, practical layout, it invites residents to shape, build, and transform using natural materials and tools.
Whether you’re working with timber, metal, or clay, The Old Shed offers space to connect with the tactile, the traditional, and the timeless.
This space is ideal for:
Woodworkers and furniture makers seeking a quiet, purposeful place to craft
Ceramic artists—a kiln is available for firing your clay works
Forging and metalworkers exploring functional or artistic pieces
Artists and tinkerers working with natural, recycled, or repurposed materials
The Old Shed is simple and rustic— and full of possibility. It’s a place to make things slowly, with care. To feel the warmth of the kiln, the scent of cut wood, and the grounded satisfaction of creating something real.
Facilities include:
Large, open indoor workspace
Outdoor working area and nearby tool storage
Kiln (available by arrangement)
Access to power and water
Nearby bathroom and kitchen facilities at the main centre
